For those who menstruate at the age of late teens, there are advantages as well. Shepherd reveal decreased risk of ovarian cancer. "Every time of ovulation, the change of ovarian tissue, which increases the chance appearance of the tumor," says Shepperd.
However, doctors have warned, not menstrual age that determines our health. There are many factors other than age at first menstruation trigger heart disease, breast cancer or ovarian cancer. Most important to remember to keep them healthy by eating a balanced diet, regular exercise, and not smoking
