HEALTH - Supermodel Gigi Hadid recently reveal his struggle against Hashimoto's Disease.

Victoria's Secret model says, thyroid disease was more prevalent in women. Diseases that affect metabolism and muscle mass ahead of the Victoria's Secret show this year.

Hashimoto's Disease is a type of autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid gland. In fact, the function of the thyroid controls metabolism, weight, body temperature, heart rate and the menstrual cycle.

The immune system attacks the thyroid disease patients and lead to reduced production of hormones that are important. These symptoms range from pain, weight gain, fertility disorders to depression.

"My metabolism is a great change this year. For this year's Victoria's Secret I do not want to lose weight. I want muscles stand out on the right," he said.

Gigi was revealed already taking medication for up to two years and hope thyroid disease that does not preclude desire buttocks up slightly. "When a little ride, it was nice," he said.
